RightStuf was awesome enough to have this package delivered to me 10 days before the official release date.
The first time I watched Martian Successor Nadesico (Kidou Senkan Nadeshiko) was right after I finished Neon Genisis Evangelion, and I have no ounce of shame to say that I think Nadesico is an overall better show. Yeah, I know Evangelion has had a bigger impact on anime as we know it, but there's a lot of valid reasons to not like Evangelion also (I personally am okay with the series). But I can't really recall any major bad or "meh" points in Nadesico (besides the fact that the second season was turned into a Japan-only Dreamcast game instead of a sequel TV series).
If you want the best combination of sci-fi, romance, comedy, and giant robots, then this is the show!
